Thank you for being on-line with us and specially for your interest in Río Nuevo Lodge a dream come true- !! First of all, I will like to introduce myself not only as the manager of this amazing place but as a person who wishes to share the experience of nature, adventure, relaxation, friendliness and personal attention with you all.
I feel proud of my country Costa Rica and of the wealth it has in some special aspects: people and natural resources which highly contribute to our well being in many different ways. |
Every day, modern societies grow farther and farther away from the natural world and sometimes we even forget that we come and are part of nature. It is a must to take care of our planet and appreciate and enjoy what it offers to all of us.
In this sense, Río Nuevo Lodge,- situated in a beautiful mountain but really close to the beach- at the Península de Osa, is a small paradise, rich in flora and fauna, with trails full of interest where you will use more than just your eyes: hearing the penetrating whistles of the birds or the mournful sounds of the monkeys at the tops of the highest trees is a beautiful sensation you won`t forget.

Along the years, all kinds of visitors - from different countries have been here: students, backpackers, ecology lovers, elders and young ones..
I`m glad to say that lots of them are now our friends with whom we keep contact. Many of them have come back over and over again. With many others we keep the wish to see them again someday.
I want you to know that Río Nuevo Lodge is much more than a personal business: It is a dream I cared since I was very young, a dream I´ve worked for, and an opportunity of showing you a place where you can get to know the rainforest and its beauty without worrying about your budget, and where you will receive the warmth and familiar kindness of our people.
